My Facebook review of the "Uhuru Solidarity Movement"

I noticed facebook subjects organizations to reviews, so I offered one for the "Uhuru Solidarity Movement" (in quotes because a cult is not a movement). Here is the transcript: What is characterized as the “Uhuru Solidarity Movement” offers a lot of important information and a very real and fair challenge to all white people; namely the concept of reparations and the understanding that the general well-being of white people comes at the price of the general colonial suffering of black (African) and other colonized peoples. There are very few sources of this true information for honest white people looking to create a better world. However the USM is also a political cult. Once they've convinced you of your responsibility to unite with the demand for reparations, they will also do their best to indoctrinate you with the idea that the only thing of value that any white person can do is support the Uhuru Movement. If you succumb to this indoctrination, you will enter a path compromising yourself as a critical thinker. You will begin to esteem the leaders of the cult as holy prophets. You will start to believe things you are told without regard for evidence. Your self-esteem will more and more rest upon your good standing within the organization and less and less upon your personal courage to speak your mind about what you believe is right and what is wrong and what is true and what is false. I give them two stars for offering important information. Otherwise they area political cult best avoided. For more information on political cults, google search "Ideological Intransigence, Democratic Centralism and Cultism" and click on any of the links you find to the essay by Dennis Tourish. I highly urge anyone getting involved with Uhuru or thinking of doing so to deeply study this important essay about political cults on the left. If you're an honest person seeking to do good in the world, you'll see similar characteristics. If you're already indoctrinated, you won't understand the essay.
